Now that it is 2015, you can look forward to a year’s worth of fantastic Kansas City events. There are events being held all year round that are fit for all types of occasions, whether you’re looking for something to do with the family, with your friends, with your significant other or with your date. In fact, if you’re looking for a way to spend a romantic weekend, then look no further than Kansas City Restaurant Week, which will last from January 16th to January 25th.
The local food scene in Kansas City has been growing at an incredible rate over the last few years, which means that there are hundreds of restaurants to try throughout the city. Kansas City Restaurant Week was put together by the city in an attempt to provide its residents with the ability to try out numerous restaurants they may not have eaten at before at a discounted price. 160 different restaurants will be participating by offering specially priced lunch and dinner menus at fixed prices.
Trying to figure out what restaurant to try out can be a little bit overwhelming, so go over to the Visit Kansas City website to get a breakdown of participating restaurants. You’ll be able to search through the 160 restaurants by sorting them by menu type – as in lunch or dinner, by the type of cuisine and by the location of the restaurant. All participating restaurants will charge only $15 for their multi-course fixed lunch menus and $33 for their fixed dinner menus.
The Kansas City Restaurant Week is not only an opportunity to try out new restaurants but to also make spend a romantic weekend exploring the art and culture of the city as well.
