The Satisfaction Leader list is fairly exclusive, spotlighting only 102 remodeling companies in the country. So we’re thrilled to be included—again.
This year’s recognition marks the fourth consecutive year that we’ve been chosen for the listing, based largely on customer satisfaction ratings compiled by GuildQuality, an independent consumer survey company. Qualified Remodeler also tracks 16 remodeling service traits, and this year focused on three customer priorities:
- How professional and well organized the remodeler is
- The renovation company’s workmanship expertise
- The service provider’s approach to problem resolution
Using Technology to Enhance Transparency Is Key to Customer Satisfaction
Things have changed dramatically since Bill and Teresa Christie founded Johnson County Siding & Window Co. more than 40 years ago. The couple has always believed that clearly communicating with customers about everything from project estimates to job progress and unforeseen delays is as important as delivering spot-on exterior remodeling results. But technological advances have led to changes in how the company communicates with customers.
In an interview with Qualified Remodeler, the Christies were asked whether using business software has helped them improve the home renovation experience for customers. The answer? Yes, the Johnson County Siding & Window Co. team uses an app to take photos before, during, and after every project and sends them to the customer, along with real-time updates that allow the customer to follow the job’s progress through photos.
The couple also discussed how they have used financing offers to help customers cope with rising labor and materials costs during what has been a challenging time related to the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
